How to use -  Easily calculate energy consumption by selecting a specific bulb or UVB value using the provided buttons. The chosen value will automatically update the energy consumption calculation below. Alternatively, you can manually enter a wattage value and click "Update Energy" to view the estimated costs per day, week, month, and year. If you know your specific electricity rate per kWh, you can input it (in pence) to get more accurate results. This information is typically available on your latest energy bill or through your energy provider's app when logged in. By default, the rate is set to 24.5 pence per kWh, reflecting the October 2024 price cap.

You'll get a breakdown of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly expenses. This tool is especially useful for managing costs if you have a large collection of animals.
